Parents’ Day in United States

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

( I was looking for a list of holidays that are celebrated in the United States Of America and look what I found. Who would have thought. Among other obscure holidays. Well – this begs the question. Do we parents get the day off? Or maybe, Do we dare take the day off.)

Quick Facts
Parents’ Day is celebrated in the United States on the fourth Sunday of July each year to recognize and promote parenting as a crucial part of families and the wider community.

Parental figures in the United States receive the recognition for the role they play in their children’s lives on Parents’ Day. The day aims to promote responsible parenting and to recognize positive parental role models. It celebrates the special bonds of love between parental figures and their children.

What do people do?

Parents’ Day is celebrated on the fourth Sunday each year. Citizens, organizations, and federal, state, and local governmental and legislative entities are encouraged to recognize Parents’ Day through proclamations, activities, and educational efforts to recognize, uplift and support the role of parents in bringing up their children.

The Parents’ Day Council plays an active role in celebrating and promoting Parents’ Day through a range of events and activities. For example, the council honors “Parents of the Year” at local, state and national levels. Those who have been nominated or selected are people who exemplify the standard and ideal of positive parenthood. Exemplary parents from each state are nominated for “National Parents of the Year”.

Parents’ Day is a popular time for people to send cards and gifts, including flowers, cakes and food hampers, to those who play an important role as a positive parental figure in their lives. It is also a time for families to come together for lunches or dinners. Special tributes to parental figures who are seen as role models are made through local announcements, at church services, or at local community events. Parents’ Day proclamations and rallies have been held in recent times and involved organizations such as the United Civil Rights Councils of America.

Public life
Parents’ Day is a national observance but it is not a public holiday in the United States.
Background

Parents’ Day promotes the message that the role of the parent is important in human development, which requires investment, focus, and commitment. In 1994 President Bill Clinton signed into law a resolution adopted by the US Congress to establish the fourth Sunday of every July as Parents’ Day. This day is similar to Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. According to the Congressional Resolution, Parents’ Day is established for “recognizing, uplifting, and supporting the role of parents in the rearing of children” (cited in the National Parents’ Day Council website).

Symbols
Images of people engaged in active learning activities with their children are often used in photos, posters, paintings, stickers and sketches to promote Parents’ Day. Images of flowers are also used to promote the day. The messages that organizations try to portray through these images are that: commitment is a core family value; parental responsibilities are important to children’s growth and development; and that unconditional love is needed for a strong bond between parental figures and their children. Parental figures include biological, foster or step-parents.

Utah Pioneer day July 24, 2010

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

Utah Pioneer day July 24, 2010
Fri, Jul 23, 2010, Pioneer Day observed, State holiday, UT. Sat, Jul 24, 2010, Pioneer Day, State holiday, UT. Sun, Jul 24, 2011, Pioneer Day, State holiday …
In Utah, Pioneer Day on July 24 outshines the Fourth of July and makes Christmas seem like a blip on the calendar. It marks the day in 1847 when Brigham Young led his Mormon followers into what is now Salt Lake City and declared, “This is the spot.” But you don’t have to be a Mormon, a Utahan, or even a Westerner to celebrate the spirit that carried these men, women and children across the continent.

Instructions
Things You’ll Need:
• Party Drinks
• Party Food
• Cowboy CDs
• Airline Tickets To Salt Lake City
1. Step 1
Visit Utah. Pioneer Day has become the focal point of a weeklong festival known variously as Days of ’47 and Covered Wagon Days. Salt Lake City stages the biggest celebrations, but throughout the state descendants of the Pioneers – along with more recent arrivals – salute the occasion with parades, rodeos, barbecues, pageants, art fairs and other festive goings-on.
2. Step 2
Read the Book of Mormon, or at least dip into it. It will give you some insight into the character of the people who left everything they knew to venture across prairies, mountains and deserts seeking their promised land.
3. Step 3
Take a long walk and think what it must have been like to travel on foot from Illinois to Utah. The idea of pioneers traveling in covered wagons originated in Hollywood film studios. In reality, those people walked every step of the way; their belongings rode in the wagons.
4. Step 4
Tell your children about the pioneers you most admire. Think not only of those who settled the West, but trailblazers of every stripe from Galileo to Alan Shepherd.
5. Step 5
Throw a western hoedown. Play cowboy music, serve up campfire cuisine and kick up your heels.

Crystal Thin Diet Crystals ™

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

TamPogo reserves the right to change any item in this package due to unavailability for an item of our choice of equal or greater value.

Crystal Thin Diet Crystals ™

Diets don’t work. This fact is obvious since each and every year a greater majority of the population gains more and more weight. They didn’t work ten years ago when everyone was trying low fat diets, they didn’t work five years ago when everyone was trying high protein diets and they don’t work today when everyone is convinced that low carb diets are the “holy grail” of weight loss.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that if you are trying to lose weight that you can’t follow the crowd since the crowd is gaining weight rather than losing weight.

Research consistently demonstrates that of all the various target behaviors studied, greatest weight loss doesn’t come from any fad diet. It doesn’t come from eating more vegetables, from eating less fruit, from trimming fat from the table or from planned exercise sessions. The target behavior that results in the greatest weight loss for overweight individuals is portion control.

A friend of mine calls this the D.E.S.M diet. As in “Don’t Eat So Much.” Simple, logical, true. Eating smaller portions results in less calorie consumption and in greater weight loss.

The problem is how exactly to train yourself to eat less. Anyone who has tried to win the war against weight gain with sheer willpower knows that it isn’t easy. Some say it isn’t even possible. Being able to actually eat less by thinking about “eating less food” all day and night long is a no win proposition. It is akin to my repeatedly showing you pictures of an elephant and asking you not to think about elephants.

Nor does structured meal planning work. Sure, at suppertime, it is easy to eat half the mash potatoes that you really want, half the roast beef or half the cooked carrots. But what happens an hour after you leave the table still hungry? That’s right, you make up the calories and then some, through snacking.

The real key to portion control and to losing weight, believe it or not, is found in the nose. That’s right, the nose.

For years, medical doctors have known that when nasal centers are damaged, more often than not, obesity results. Logically, since the less effective a person’s sense of smell is, the more weight they gain, researchers believed the opposite might be true. This led to recent, groundbreaking studies demonstrating that a heightened sense of smell during eating results in faster satiety and less calorie consumption. For example, studies carried out by one of the world’s leading medical researcher’s, neurologist Dr. Alan Hirsch, have found that overweight individuals lost an average of 34.7 pounds in six months simply by sprinkling his creation of specially scented inert organic crystals onto their meals and snacks. This research formed the basis for the original scent product, Sprinkle Thin. These astonishing results were confirmed and replicated in an independent study of Crystal Thin Diet Crystals ™.

Crystal Thin Diet Crystals ™ do not change the taste of the food, however they do activate nasal sense receptors that trigger patterns of electrical activity in region of the brain that affects appetite. In other words, during each meal or snack, the specially scented crystals trigger your brain to tell you that you are “full” faster. The net result is that you are happy with your meal, you stop eating earlier and end up losing weight. And since this feeling of meal fulfillment is relatively enduring, you don’t end up rushing for snacks due to hunger.

Incredibly, all the weight loss occurred totally as a result of the messages that the scent crystals relayed from the nose to the brain. This is reinforced by the fact that all the people studied were allowed to eat the same foods that they normally ate, they were not instructed to avoid any foods or sweets whatsoever, they were directed to eat the same amount of food they were accustomed to and they did not have to increase their activity levels or begin structured exercise programs.

Again, all they had to do was shake a few “taste-less” crystals on their food prior to eating. Who would have thought that it would end up being the nose that changed feelings of food deprivation into satisfaction and ultimately was responsible for reversing the population trend toward obesity and ushering in a new era of sensible food consumption?

If you are interested in getting an incredible jump on achieving the fitness level you have always desired, then get in line for your Crystal Thin product package today.

Crystal Thin can and probably should replace the use of stimulants and other appetite suppressants however we recommend that for ideal weight loss results people eat properly balanced diets with appropriate calorie intake, remain active or exercising and continue on carbohydrate management products (such as Diabance) and Gh pro-hormonal products (such as Night Cap).

Hello Pioneers!

Privately, I often use the word “pioneer” to describe individuals who are involved in TamPogo. A “pioneer” doesn’t simply refer to a person who was part of TamPogo in the very beginning. It defines a TamPogo member who exhibits the type of foresight, vision and courage that characterizes the mindset of those in history who became known as “pioneers.”

The early American pioneers expanded from East Coast cities to largely unsettled Western frontiers. The Go West theme was revisited in an editorial by Horace Greeley, in the New York Tribune on 13 July 1865 when he expounded, “Go West, young man, and grow up with the country.” The phrase captured the imaginations of clerks, mechanics, and soldiers returning from the Civil War, many of whom moved west to pioneer new towns and cities.

TamPogo has grown to the point today where rapid acceleration has taken place and where our reach on the Internet has expanded to make us one of the top sites in the U.S. and the world. Interestingly, this incredible growth has occurred WITHOUT benefit from fast start money that typically defines the reason why people get involved (and also fail) in network marketing. Fast start money is both the blue sky and funnel cloud to the industry. Whenever a person is “charged” a fee to join a business, in addition to having to purchase overpriced and undervalued product, the result must be a total disaster for the individual. And it is, over a short time, all the time.

TamPogo is different in that it is free to join and when you purchase a product it is a high value product at a price that is lower than anywhere on the Internet or in the real world. The result of this must be good, and over the past 12 months in business, we have proven it to be.

I mention the word “pioneer” today as we are actually standing at the forefront of a new horizon. TamPogo has pioneered a way to incorporate fast start money into your business without charging a fee and while staying consistent with the TamPogo principles of giving you tremendous value at highly reduced cost. In fact, we accelerated our model through the introduction of the OPTIONAL Tango Program.

Here is why Tango is so innovative. First, Tango offers enrollees more great product at even less cost. Second, it allows enrollees a strong secondary, recurring income stream for the cost of only one Tango package purchase. Third, Tango activity benefits everyone at TamPogo, even those who don’t join, through a huge additional source of revenue paid into the primary TamPogo unilevel plan. Fourth, Tango funds many additional bonus pools at TamPogo that can be obtained by people not even taking part in Tango. Fifth, Tango provides funding for increased charitable undertakings. The list of incredible Tango features goes on and on.

But let’s focus on today. Like the early pioneers, we need to begin to expand into unfamiliar territory. In our case, Tango. It is time for us to paraphrase Greeley and say, “Go Tango young man (and woman) and grow up with TamPogo”.

The Tango packages have begun to show up in the TamPogo store. One simple purchase literally brings you benefits that we cannot begin to calculate at the start. And if you can bring two others to Tango, there is virtually no risk on your part.

I used the word pioneer to start this e-mail and the truth is that throughout history it was always easy to spot the pioneer as he or she was the one with arrows in the back, either in reality or metaphorically. I felt a few of those arrows over the years in my own life, especially in forging new trails for the Internet. But in the case of Tango, you can be a true pioneer and accrue all the benefits of being a pioneer with no risk of feeling that arrow. All you need to avoid risk is to know two people who can follow you. Then continue your pioneering effort by working hard to spread the message of Tango, and more generally, the message of TamPogo.

I get dozens of e-mails every day asking me what I would do in a certain situation, sometimes relating to TamPogo, general business or even personal life. Here is what I would do today as a member of TamPogo:

1. Make sure I was active in TamPogo by making my July Fast Track purchase.
2. Make sure I purchased a Tango package.
3. Make sure I contact my downline and get them enrolled in Tango.
4. Make sure I bring the TamPogo and Tango message to everyone I knew, and to many others, whom I don’t know.
5. Do what is necessary to qualify for one or more of the bonuses offered by TamPogo.

Tango pays weekly. As soon as we turn it on later this month, you will begin earning tangible monetary rewards that can affect your life immediately. Whether you are trying to earn money to pay off debt, buy a new car, invest in your child’s education –whatever your goal, Tango can help you.

If you pre-registered in Tango last week, make sure to make your purchase by the close of business this Saturday evening, July 17th at 11:59pm Eastern and you will have primary placement in the new 2×2 Tango Program. For those of you who have not pre-registered, all is not lost. You can buy a Tango package prior to Saturday evening and receive all the great benefits of still being at the head of what promises to be a very long rewarding line.

Being at the right place at the right time is critical to success. But you still need to take action to benefit from being here, when the spectacular Tango program is about to start. You need to ask yourself if you have two people that will follow you. Then you need to ask yourself if you have what it takes to be a pioneer or are you more comfortable letting others get a head start to the financial freedom and benefits that you all deserve equally.

Of course, during this actual pre-opening period, you can use Tango as a recruiting tool to bring others to the business. And you should, as Tango represents the single best recruiting tool anyone could have. All new people need to do is enroll in TamPogo by making any Fast Track purchase and enroll in Tango by making a Tango product package purchase.

Before closing, since I feel compelled to always help identify and support ways for everyone at TamPogo to get bigger, stronger checks, I am going to ask everyone to go to their back office and revisit the qualifications for the Power of Ten bonus. I will be adding the MD Products to the Power of Ten payout for the month of July. Why is that important? Well, a majority of the products in the Tango packages pay money to the Power of Ten bonus pool. Given the pre-registration level of Tango, it’s a reasonable guess that the Power of Ten pool in July will land somewhere 5 to 10 times the $7,000 plus it was in June. In the month of June there were only 12 people qualified for the Power of Ten check. If there are only 12 people in July, they will earn a sweet payout in addition to all the other money they are eligible for by being an active member of TamPogo. And who can guess how large this pool will grow over the next few short months.

You are here.
The time is now.
The action is simple.
The reward is grand.

To Tango or not to Tango – that is the question. If you think like me, you realized I just asked a question with only one answer. Seriously, why gain nothing by watching others when you can gain everything by involving yourself.

I am blessed and humbled to be the leader of leaders here at TamPogo. To do my small part to help provide my amazing friends and co-workers the tools to chop away the tangle of corporate greed, banking misdeeds and network marketing pirateering that has defined our recent economic history. You are the pioneers of change and it’s time to celebrate the new beginnings of immediate financial gain. It’s time to dance the dance of change. Let’s everyone Tango!!!
