QUICK – AND – GO VS. PREPARED PICNICS

We talked about Quit-And-Go- Picnics vs. Prepared Picnics in a prior article. Here are some ideas for menus. Please be creative and fix the picnic that your family would love the most. Make whatever substitutes are deletions that would best suit your family.

QUIT-AND-GO-PICNIC NO. 1

PREPARED PICNIC

Cold Meat Loaf
Potato Salad
Carrot and Cabbage Salad
Butter Bread or Rolls
Sugared Berries or Peaches, or Canned Fruit
Cocoanut Cake or Sugar Cookies

Cold Fried Corn
Sliced Tomatoes Cole Slaw

The two children on the front page banner were photographed this past year by one of the founders of TamPogo outside of the Managua city dump in Nicaragua. The conditions they live in are unimaginable. But because of the generosity of TamPogo and its team of iReps these children will not be hungry. They are fed a nutritious meal daily by a local partner who also provides health services, a school, and all the basics of life to give them hope and a future.
